| Okay so its more than just a few days later, but who's counting right?
Nah, just finsihed the most strenuous psych essay of my life (on Freud) which has quite serious consequences to where might be studying next year. Had a nightmare last night that I missed the Honours cutoff by a few percent (It was worse than any slasher nightmare).
Saw the advertisement that Shelter need new staff desberately as feel a little (actually a lot) homesick for Amsterdam (my 2nd home). One day I will return! Even if only to see the crazy museums and eat lunch at the Shelter Jordan. Anybody still there from my time? Probably not, they're all too busy getting married and stuff (hehehe). Anywayz, life is still quite interesting. Sorry to Marco for not getting back to you for over a few years now. Thank you so much for the cd. The problem is no matter what I do with it it sounds way too 'donnie darko spiritual' with soundtracks I experimented over it. It always come back to if we had a title track then the very cool overlaying talks over it and ending off with a few tracks. I've been thinking what to give ya and i have two electro tracks (ambiant electro vibes) that I wrote and recently discovered in Amsterdam on Ben's Apple.
Anywayz, the only internet spot we have is on my mother's laptop and its insane. Im on for ten minutes and im already being chased off. So maybe tomorrow Ill put another thought out here.
To end off let me say that I miss the whole lot of you and I miss meeting new people all the time and not having a chance to be in a rut. But please pray for me about my studies. I have two more months of high stress with serious consequential implications (big words I know).

| So yes, I think we should retitle this xanga as 'arb and random inlooks in Daniel's Life spacing from five times a day to once a year'
My oh my another year gone! And finally now we have adsl for the first time in my household. My how technology has grown in this side of the world. First the slaves don't have to run the bicycles to run the electricity terminals and now broadband internet powered by the water system outside my house.
Yes, I am still full of it!!!
So, anything changed? In a big way: YES!!! I am no longer a ladies man rather now a lady's man. The relationship is awesome though I am not jumping on the shelter band wagon and getting married in the next year of two! I knew all along I wasn't the craziest! And you all told me I was the impulsive one. It is gonna be our one year and two months in three days time! She though has chicken pox at age twenty two.
I am still finding it hard to gel at church. It is a bit of a two way situation. On the one hand I am finding it hard to find my place in the church especially because the arm injury is still persistent and so ive had to stop playing drums for the church. I led an alpha group straight after i came back which was good and I ran a bible study from home for about six months. On the other hand I have been given a good situation whereby I am gaining a reputation for being an open minded Christian and people who originally did not want anything to do with christians are asking me questions but more importantly for my opinion.
Anyway I am being chased off the computer so I will be carrying on this discussion tomorrow!
| So, finally a chance to send a quick chat line of whats goin on in my life!
Alpha is going real well, weekend away coming up and my new bs coming together so all evry positive! Played at church on sunday but was not really handling it so on that front a bit of bad news!
Studying is going well, nothing to complain about that! Its good to be back in the swing of things though holidays start tomorrow.
Yeah, and tomorrow I am going to be working main stage at South Africa's main music festival Splashy Fen. Its gonna be awesome, and I'll come back richer than when I left. Camping out on a mountain, sure to send photos of the festival!
And its been a month and a half already with my beautiful girlfriend, Alice. Relationship still going real strong, and shes such a honey!
Oh by the way its my 21st today too!
Much love from down south

| Into the sixth week back in the south of africa and, well (sigh), a lot has happened.
Two weeks ago was registration. This, a usual three hour procedure, took me a whole two and a half days of queue waiting. This week happened to be the same week the University decided to have a strike. Yes, a strike that resulted in a day lost due to a compulsary stop to registration. There were police and SABC (TV) cameras and toy-toying (the dance you do when striking up and down streets) and all the rest of it. Well eventually I was registered through, thank God. But ya, it was quite eventful.
I started leading an alpha group. Third week in and well, its been good for me. I came back wanting to start a Bible Study Group for weird alternate people like myself, instead I ended up in a three way leadership of an alpha group. People I never dreamed would come are bringing their friends over to us and well, its pretty breath taking.
